As Mayor of Dartford for the 2026–27 civic year, Cllr Avtar Sandhu MBE has announced his mayoral charity appeal, choosing three causes with close ties to the borough to support throughout his term.
Valley Hospital Charity
The appeal supports Valley Hospital Charity, with a particular emphasis on stroke and breast cancer patient care at Darent Valley Hospital, a body on which Cllr Sandhu also represents the council externally.
Dartford's Veterans Breakfast Club
The appeal also backs Dartford's Veterans Breakfast Club, supporting the borough's community of veterans through its regular breakfast club gatherings.
We Are Beams
Rounding out the appeal is support for We Are Beams, a charity active in the local community.
